What a handsome little man you have there HW.
Glad to hear your daughter is being well cared for and she most certainly needs lots of TLC too. She has done a mighty job bringing the little one safely into the world.
All the BEST to you and the family and a big pat for Diesel too.
Cheers B

Daughter is feeling a lot better after a blood transfusion last night. They took him down for a bath this morning. S.in.L bathed him and didn't drop him. He is 55 cm long. They are going to give her another blood transfusion today and with any luck she might be out tomorrow or maybe Tuesday. he is feeding well. When I said to S.in.L he would be able to take him in the shower with him he said He could probably stand up on his own. he loved the bath. Went to the market today, bought wooden letters spelling out Deegan and left them on the windowsill in his bedroom. A nice surprise. Got them from the same guy I've bought other grandsons trains and trucks from. he makes all his own and does a good job. Daughter will be able to paint them if she wants to.

WOW it all happens when I am away from the internet!!! Congratulations Marj on the beautiful bouncing baby boy - my daughter was 9lb4oz, long labour and no caesar, so I understand what your daughter has been through. Funny I only had one child??
Anyway all the best to your daughter and SIL on the birth of their first child.
Best wishes, Helen

They all arrived home today safe and well. He's lost a bit of the big chubby cheeks, has lovely colour. Didn't lose much weight from birth to discharge, About 240gram Spent the afternoon cuddling him and will go back around tomorrow. Why don't the shops sell cotton mittens. S.in.L went to a few today including an actual baby shop, nothing. So I will look around town tomorrow see if I can find some.
