Same as Gerty here but maybe not quite as much rain. Temps have dropped so much tonight we have put the air/con on. Currently 10.9C outside and supposed to go to 7C. Forecast says it will warm up a bit next week.

Another beautiful sunny day in Logan Qld. 13 -25. I went to the park to get some nice warm sun on my back, as the Asthma is playing up a bit. I kept a black umbrella over me, so as to protect my skin, and it added to the warmth of the sun. All this while watching the pelicans in the lagoon. Lovely!
Heather, I had to look that one up. Come back to the warmth of Qld!

gunnago - why do you type as if you are sending a text message? I have trouble understanding your shorthand. Weather here has been much warmer during the day - Far South Coast NSW - but because we are close to the snow it will still be down to 6C tonight.

Looks like the weather could get a bit wild in some areas of Qld over the next couple of days. Batten down the hatches Herbie.
**Updated Heads Up** Storm "possibilities" for tomorrow (Tuesday) dependent on where the trough is tomorrow but this forecast map will give you an idea of areas.... As we all know, storms can be very isolated so although you may be within the forecast area it does not guarantee you will experience a storm over the top of you. *Note* Inset bottom left of the image is 1pm forecast, main image is 4pm. Areas include: Emerald & Gemfields, Rolleston, areas of Capricornia, Fraser Coast particularly north of Gympie to Bundaberg, parts of Wide Bay & Burnett. The SE Qld corner (Southern Sunshine Coast & Brisbane areas) may not see any storm activity at this stage as the trough appears to be further north. **Wednesday & Thursday** For those traveling - Wednesday in particular show storm possibilities again further north of Rockhampton, areas west of Mackay down to Emerald. Hot and muggy here in Biggy. The night that storm came through at Wuruma Dam was quite a show. Saw lightening in the distance, then the dark clouds came in. Next thing heavy downpour, hail, thunder and lightening right on top of where we were. Didn't last too long then we were back outside watching the remains in the distance.
