After 4 days of howling winds from Geraldton to Carnarvon we can expect some nice weather for the next week. So bad blew the caravan wire door back into the van and had to jemmy it out.

G'day
After leaving Greta had a pleasant day travelling to Burren Junction, stayed 2 nights, cold nights but glorious days especially sampling the 40 degree bore baths, very invigorating, feel like a new man and at least 10 years younger. Out west cold nights but pleasant days. Presently at Nindigully, lot warmer and plenty of free camping and to top it off Nindigully Hotel has a happy hour everyday. Looking forward to even warmer weather the further north I go.
Cheers
Kev
PS Roads are all good, not much traffic except cotton trucks and travelling nomads, some delays with road works north of Moree.
G'day Picture above at Burren Junction hot spring baths.

Beautiful sunny day here. I'm in Childers Public Library using their free computer as my laptop died a couple of weeks ago. In the meantime I am trying to do everything on my phone. Its a very slow process.

Yesterday was my grandaughters fourth birthday. A small family party was planned at a park. It was very overcast, with rain expected, but luckily it held off. It was windy and chiily but at least it didn't rain.
I then slept over at my sons place because he wanted to go for a drive to O'Reillys. Anyone who knows this beautiful place will know that it's a rainforest...where it often rains, non stop. Which it did! All day!
So what was the weather like today in SEQ? Rain rain & more rain.

We are in Echuca after leaving Pakenham on Sunday, a bit chilly and overcast at the moment and they say some rain is on the way for the next few days, can't believe how it has greened up since we left here middle of January, a bit more would not go astray as everyone are just putting their crops in.

Glorious warm sunny day on NSW south coast, but rain forecast tomorrow. The Queensland rain is coming south apparently. Isnt it uncommon to have so much rain in June in SE Qld?

Phew, its getting a bit warm here in Townsville but the locals reckon they are getting a cold winter already. I reckon it's warm to hot and didn't know winter was warm.
