Glorious warm sunny day on NSW south coast, but rain forecast tomorrow. The Queensland rain is coming south apparently. Isnt it uncommon to have so much rain in June in SE Qld?
You're right Gerty. I was just saying to my Victorian born dil the other day that this is like Victorian winters. But 'normal' seems to have gone out the window.
There's only two good things about having all this rain now...it's good for the farmers, and it's not too cold at night. 15 - 23.

I agree Doug. 28 is a little high for 'winter' temps. But that's Townsville for you. I told you to go up to the Tablelands. Not Mareeba, still hot there, but Malanda or Atherton would be nice.

Talking to some people who were at Leslie Dam, near Warwick, last night. Wind came up - vans lost awnings and aerials. Lucky we had no wind here!!

The westerlies and the sun have arrived in SEQ. The weather bureau says we should have a week of nice sunny weather, but naturally that means it's gotten colder. And those westerly winds just top it off. Temp today was 20 and it's going down to 8 tonight.
But it's sure nice to see a blue sky and no rain in sight!

30klm S/W of Ballarat. Minus 1 last night and I just couldn't get warm. My body was cool in bed, but my face was freezing. Put an extra doona on the bed for tonight as it's supposed to get down to zero.
Can't wait for the better weather to arrive so I can get out on the road again. I still work part time, so heading North isn't an option at present!

rosco, you'll be getting some zero temps at Charleville, or close to it! I have a few cousins living there.
