South coast NSW... patchy rain, about 18 degrees. Theres quite a few tourists in town with kids on school hols, the cinema is doing well!

It's currently 20 degrees in Logan Q, overcast with 80% chance of rain. Tonight's expected to be 14. Quite warm for July.

We're camped at the CP at Powlett River just before Wonthaggi. Getting overcast and starting to get breezey. The CP manager warned us to batten down everything, stow the awning and hangon. He has been here for years and says it looks bad. Was going to leave on Saturday but will leave later if needed.

Put the first post in at 4.12 pm. At 4.32, the weather hit and boy did it hit Wind and rain like I haven't seen for a long time. At one point we had a flash of really bright light and within 1 second the biggest bang I have felt right above the van. Scared the c*** out of us. Even now at 6.35 it is still blowing a gale and raining. All snug inside, thank you.

Hope it has improved for you Bob.? Strong winds when you are in a caravan can be terrifying.... if we could turn to face the wind its much better but often impossible due to other campers/caravan park sites etc.
Still haven't had the strong winds on the south coast NSW although its started to rain.

Broome............... A fresh start at 06:30am on the way to work +17, warmed up nicely to a pleasant +28 at around 11:00am, evening cooling off again will have to turn the aircon off soon!!
Mild during the day here in the Wide Bay Qld, with just enough rain at night to keep putting some in the tanks:)

Freezing out here at Aysons Reserve. Came for a drive and lunch. Definitely a summer time place as would be Greens Lake.
There are a few campers here, all with their fires going or inside with the doors shut.

Spent the afternoon at the Echuca boat ramp watching the goings on at the river. That was until the sun disappeared and it got very cold about 3pm, so home to the warmth.

30klm S/W of Ballarat and there's a very lazy breeze blowing. Too lazy to go around me, so it goes through me instead. Freezing cold and showers on the way.
