After a not so cold Winter, it seems like we've skipped Spring altogether, and gone straight to Summer.
We're having temps in the high twenties every day. It's also bushfire season, so some rain wouldn't go astray.
And I know Western Qld is badly in need of rain also.
NW Tassie has plenty of rain to send you! Know anyone who wants blustery wind?

We are in Canberra, its a very cool foggy morning here. Got the heater on in the caravan. Glad we don't live here any more, but its been nice catching up with old friends.

Blowing a gale, literally, here in Perth. At one stage last night I thought I'd wake up to find my roof gone. The sun peeps out of a dark sky every now and then which bodes well for tomorrow. I hope.
Aaaah soon I'll be fishing again.

Just got to Duaringa in central Qld. Absolutely perfect once the sun is low, but a bit warm in the middle of the day. Min 15 to Max 30. Very dry and dare I ask for rain (but not flood again please weather gods)

Weather here in Alice Springs is fantastic around 32deg everyday, clear skies and mild nights. Leave here next Tuesday and looking forward to seeing some water besides tap water as we head towards the coast.

Carnarvon Gorge is quite warm around 30C. Did heaps of walking today, wore the feet down to stubbs.

At Balgal Beach (Qld) last night it was windy and cool. Lovely to hear the surf roaring a little. Today it is a lovely temp but is windy as we travel north to Cairns. Cardwell is 22 and will go up to 26 today.

I think it must have, Rosie. We've had rain on the roof in Cairns, Qld tonight already. It was very gusty and blowy all the way from Townsville to here today. Right now it's a lovely 22C but looks like it will go down to 17C this evening sometime. We'll be here a couple of weeks now :)
PS: Beth, there's no surf where we are staying on our daughter's front lawn. Glad we got one night with it's sound in the background!

Well, yesterday dawned glorious, then the sea fog rolled in. It was so thick earlier today that it was like a light rain. Finally clearing now, light breeze and a hint of blue sky. Maybe the rain DID leave NW Tassie to head north to the parts that need it?!

Now at Elliots Head (Bundaberg) - 32 this afternoonm now a beautiful 25 with sea breeze.
