Beautiful 22c today in Canberra but a bit windy.... minus 1 tonite doona on again. Bugger. Off to Sydney tomorrow so should be a bit warmer.

And it was probably a bit smokier too sarg. We left all the smoke of Sydney and Newcastle behind and found a beautiful day here in far south coast NSW. Even the rain that Doiugwe complained about wasn't to be seen. (We need rain.) 19C tonight but dropping.

Brought my with over to Mt Gambier to celebrate our 5th wedding anniverisary to what I remebered as a beautiful place so far for the 2 days we have been here its been hot for 20 seconds cloudy cold for 20 seconds raining for 5 seconds whats going on Mr Weather man bless us with warm sunny weather for the next four days before retuning back to NSW

Leslie Dam SE QLD .... Bit of a wind storm last night and chilly this morning, but looks like it will be a beautiful day again ... High 20's to low 30s temps .... May just wait until it warms up this morning to venture onto the water. Been here a week and will be here at least another week or 2 ...... My favorite paid camping place, except on weekends!

Fantastic start to Melbourne Cup Day - blue sky, sunshine, light breeze!!!!! Hope it stays that way- we are having a Cup Day lunch, and a sweep, watching the big race on someone's tv, outside in the sunshine!!!

Well I've discovered the weatherman can't make up his mind. He has given 10 different forecasts in the last 4 days! Hope the latest one is right. Possible sower for Saturday (instead of 40mm of rain)

Leslie Dam, SEQ. a few clouds around again today after a rather interesting night and more of the same forecasted for the week .... High winds and lots of the local weekend warriors gear has been blown into the next postcode and the owners are now packing up whats left and heading home?? Why would anyone come camping even for a weekend when the forecast was for wind and rain with a flimsy setup of tents and tarps and XXX? They must have seen it coming .... All the caravanners spent some time securing everything and making sure annexes, awnings etc were secure??? Even the million scouts that are here this weekend (grrrrrr) are more prepared than the locals!
we were very impressed with how stable our little camper, awning and shade cloth annex stood up to the wind!

A very pleasant 36 degrees here in the van with the aircon on!! Think it is a tad hot outside!! Normally we would be outside under a shady tree but the grass is drying off and it is causing my asthma to play up so inside I will stay. We are up near Seabird WA.

Here in Echuca WINDY as it has been through all my trip but mild one could ALMOST tolerate it maybe tomorrow the wind will ease a little so I can go sight seeing
