When we get a breeze off the water even though Northerly it does help with the very hot days here at Greens Lake Central Victoria.
Another hot one today and looking outside it will be too, 18c at the moment with at least another 18 to go.

Glorious warm sunny breezy weather on south coast NSW!
I feel sorry for those sweltering in heatwaves in the West, will be there in March, hope your weather improves by then.

Howdy Gerty,
You won't have to wait until March to cop some heat,
We're pushing it across the Sand Patch as fast as we can, had enough of it for this year thanks.

Today is going to be much the same.

Yep much the same here at Greens again today and rest of week. Mid 40's.
Even the Nulla Twins went into meltdown over night. Didn't see them all night, must have been in the lake?

Under 30 degrees but a tad humid on the NSW south coast. Geez I'm glad not to be in those 40+ degree places! Hope you are all ok.

Thats why I'm spending the week here at my sons in Geelong. At least I can use the air-conditioning and still pop out and do what I need to get done in the morning. The temp will drop back to the 20s on Saturday, will have done what I need to by then. Van service tomorrow and a walk around the dozens of shops in Westfield in the air-con until they call me back. . Will call in to Greens on my way through to have a good chat to the GN's still there.
If nobody there, it will wait.

Here at Greens Lake, Central Victoria we have been covered by BLACK and I mean Real BLACK BLACK Sky's and lightning. Looks like we might cop a battering sooner than soon. Still hotter than hot though and just became very still.
Maybe the calm before the storm.

Thanks Gerty but I think the weather gods were playing silly buggers with us. Most here put things away and put cables off ground but those WG's decided to clear the sky's this morning and give us more hot heat, phew 31c as I do this.
Sounds like power black outs back in base camp but all fine here, we all have our own power so bugga 'em.
It was sort of funny as a bloke bringing his boat in about 9.30pm last night came over to me and suggested I move to higher ground as the water level has been known to get up to where I am camped. I thanked him for his advice and decided to stay put, I could be out a here in 15 mins if need be with the Den in tow.
