Hi Dicko, I think we have travelled the same highways. Looks like Neil Turner Weier, on the outskirts of Mitchell. (Last September we travelled from home to Roma, Morven, Augathella, Charleville, back to Roma, up to Taroom, Theodore, Banana, Bioela, Monto, Gayndah, Kingroy and back home.
Anyways, we lunched under a shady tree by Neil Turner Weier.
Cheers.

Yes Gaylene, you are correct.
I like travelling through those parts of QLD up to Longreach in Winter/Spring.

Thanks DickO, I do like it when I see a photo and recognize it without doing research. Not that I don't mind pouring through some of my photos to bring back memories. Now to find a photo to post.A church this time in a different state. The first time I saw this church quite some years back I was very impressed but sadly the last time we went to have a look it was all fenced off, and you had to park on the main road. It looked all forlorn. Has anyone seen it lately?
When we were there in early May, the scene was in full autumn colours, very special and is one of our more favourable areas to visit.
We are away at present enjoying a white Christmas.

As I haven't had any guesses to the name of this church by now, I will tell you that it is Gostwyck Church, (NSW). We have seen it at different times of the year and when I took the last photo it was bare, at others it was covered with Autumn leaves etc. I am happy for someone else to put up a photo. Cheers.

I miss being involved in this forum with Pick this Place.
Correct, Port Hughes. Where are we going next?
Nice place to cool off.
Yes Gaylene, you are right.
Over to you to take us elsewhere.
Thanks. Where would you find this hall? We loved to "donation" camp at this spot. Cheers
Your turn again seeing you got the answer correct.
Would that be at Monto?
A rather popular campground in QLD.
Anyways, we lunched under a shady tree by Neil Turner Weier.
Cheers.

We had a great visit, lunch at RSL was excellent. It was amazing to see the growth of Leeton since I was last there in 1980 for a load of hay.
Where are you going to takes us with a photo?
Thanks Radar, when you mentioned rice, that gave me a clue.
Try this one.
Time for a clue ,it is in NSW
Only a guess.
The big iron looking tub.
Jervis Bay, NSW
Further South, the big tub has to do with whaling.
