Microsoft is terminating Calendar in Win 10/11 and replacing it with Outlook (ugh!). I'm having a hard time finding a free replacement that doesn't want my personal info, or other intrusive stuff. I just want to enter scheduled tasks into a calendar and be reminded at a time of my choosing. I don't need, or want, to sync with other calendars on other devices.
Is anyone using something like this?

I use Thunderbird as an email client. It also has Calendar and To Do components with remimders which can be standalone.

Thanks, that's ideal, at least on one machine. The other machine limits me to only what is available from the MS Store.
Edit:
It's there! I'm sure I checked for it once before and was unable to find it. Thanks again.

I use google calender because it shares data between all our devices.
We use Hotdoc to make GP appointments, when appointments are confirmed the information is loaded to my callender
