Great place for overnight, short or long term camping in the Mallee. Lake is always at 100% capacity. Signs indicate Free Camping around the lake and appreciate a voluntary donation for site upkeep. There are, also, 10 power/water sites at $30 day. Modern amenities, flushing toilets, hot showers, bbq's, town water & bins. Dump point about 1km. Easy walk to main street shops, supermarket, pub, chemist, take-away, news agency/lotto, bakery, hardware, gifts, lpg swap or refills & fuel.
2km walk around lake perimeter. Most sites fairly level. Great lake for swimming, fishing and water sports. Noticed grey nomads regularly with kayaks. Well maintained site including three amenity blocks very clean and include loo paper. Popular with locals on weekends but much quieter mid-week. No camp time restrictions.
I could upload photos, however, there are many pics on Wikicamps app.

We stopped in for morning tea on a recent trip and were most impressed at the location and range of options available.
