I have done my first camp trip in the Patrol and after a late night and a lot of beers i went to bed ( i sleep in the back of the wagon ) it was pissing down rain so i shut the tailgate. In early hours of the morning i was desperate for a piss but was unable to find the handle to open the tailgate. Im an ol buggar that cant move too good but somehow moved stuff around and finally got out to relieve myself. QUESTION-- Is their a way i can open tailgate from the inside or do i leave the tailgate open next trip. NISSAN PATROL 2024 y62. THANKS. PS, I DONT WANT AN AUTO OPENING DOOR .

There is no internal latch to open rear door on Y62 Patrol unfortunately - you will need to enter/egress though side door/s.
A clever "leccy" may be able to fit an internal push button activator.

Ah yes. A big emergency bottle would be much cheaper and much less dramatic.
