I couldn't see any threads in this forum, so I'm asking if anyone has found a good pet, that doesn't have to be either a dog or a cat..
I did see once a guy in QLD with a parrot, but other than that...
Any ideas or experiences??

The only problem with exotic pets is the border requirements. Sometimes the officials will not allow them into their States.

You are gonna have to be a bit more specific.. What kind of exotic pets do you have in mind?

In general terms it is not possible to keep any native animal, most reptiles (and many birds) without a specific permit.
Why would anyone choose to submit a pet to constant travel restrictions?
It is just cruel.

What about turtles or frogs? Does anyone here have these kinds of pets?
