Best Menopause Question Ever! Q: How many women with MENOPAUSE does it take to change a light bulb?
Woman's Answer: One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the dumb light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILLBE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE DUMB LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUTTHEGARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !!

Basil Are you suggesting that woman get cranky, irrational, and caustic, for no good reason during this phase?
How do I tell the difference from the norm?

There is a simple answer to the light bulb changing task. Whoever noticed it wasn't working should change it, same as whoever notice the bin was full should empty it .
It goes without saying "if you look for tasks to do there will always be plenty" STOP looking I have
I 'm yet to fully understand the drama why the toilet seat has to be left down, I need it up and when it's down I just put it up , it really is a simple task for a man.
Why is it that it only the male species that can come to grips with checking the oil, water battery and tyre pressure on the family car or is the only one who can reach the middle of the roof to wash it.
Why is it that only the male can work out how to key start the mower .
This multi skilling that females have claimed ownership to is all very fine but if all the tasks started remain incomplete at days end then nothing has been achieved when you analysis it and productivity remains at zero . Start one , finish it then move on , so simple isn't it. Productivity =100% .
Menopause to women I suppose is a bit like selective deafness is to males , it's an affliction that only men can contract after marriage. Me ! married forty years and I have got it done to an art form.
They say that love is so blind and marriage is an institution for life so it follows that marriage must be an institution for the visually impaired.
I do hope my wife doesn't get to read this, at my stage if life it pays to be afraid very afraid, if she finds out who will change the toilet roll
