A MAN who died in the searing heat with a desperate message for help scrawled in the sand next to his body was a "grey nomad" keen on bird-watching and photography.
mate thats how I want to go, out there somewhere, no white light for him, he's already in heaven, one must be carefull when travelling in remote areas like this, a little thing like getting bogged and this fellow died, happens more than you think

That unfortunate fellow must have had some other medical condition to have perished like that. Seems with him being an ornithologist he would have had experience in outback conditions. So I guess after an autopsy the full story might be revealed.
