i love this site, works for me.

What about we "members" set a record.

I will start with, we all log in on the 1/12/08 - do not know what day that is, so come on - suggest a record date, and get logging in - see how may we get

oh BOB dont look at the number of guests on line at any one time, it means very little, have a look at the number of postings (growing everyday) have a look at the number of members (growing everyday despite the forecast of doom and gloom from some) take a look at the number of veiwers in the hundreds, this is a worldwide site, people come people go, suits some doesnt suit others, it has changed since I have joined and it will change when I go, who ever is king today will be knocked off tommorow thats how these forums are

I did take notice Two Bob, but at the time I read the post I was in a hurry and didn't have the time to acknowledge it. I thought I would come back to it, which I have now done! I'm on board for the 1/12 ....

You "made" my point. This site is growing and I felt we should demonstrate that, by setting a record.

As for knocking off the "King", so be it, even if it is King/Queen for the day, but "knock off" our Guru - asking for trouble.

I believe I would have a smile on the dial, if the intro said "members" were the max for a day, and I was part of it.

Change my suggestion to the 30th of October, as it is a Sunday, and possibly before the Xmas party obligations

Great idea, Twobob! How about we strike while the iron is hot and make it this weekend? If we all log in on Sunday, 2nd November at 4:00 pm and stay logged in for an hour (until 5:00 pm) we may have a chance of setting a new record.  42 must go!

Good point.  Perhaps we can make it 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Sunday 2nd November - Australian Eastern Daylight Time.  I think this means:

4:00 - 5:00 New South Wales, ACT, Tasmania, Victoria
3:00 - 4:00 Queensland
3:30 - 4:30 South Australia
2:30 - 3:30 Northern Territory
2:00 - 3:00 Western Australia

Hope I've calculated properly!

While I have been very busy with personal stuff, I did respond top a couple of PM's, and noticed the "hype", that has come from my suggestion.

I believe we will all benefit from taking part, also I think it will help the webmaster. Lets face it, we pay nothing, but someone needs to pay.

Make this a good thing for yourself personally (be part of it) and help the site continue. Good clubs are only as good as its members, we have an opportunity here to (as a group) make this site more important, and a fun place to be.

On ya Webmaster, for setting the date and time - lets crash this site (nicely)
