Has anyone had any experience with a 'Dream pot"? I am thinking of purchasing one as I would love to do the odd stew/pot road without using up all the gas or running the genny for hours. What else do people use?

well i use the cobb, it can do all that plus roast, smoke fish or chooks, make pizzas, stir fry, pan fry, barbecue, boil, cook up a corned silverside, it does all this on only about 9 heat beads, all info is on the introductory page or the cobb website

Have a look at this site http://www.southern-metal-spinners.com.au/ especially the Aussie camp oven and the Camp Oven Mate, which is a camp oven powered by gas, thus eliminating the messy heat beads. Cheers

Thanks Tony!
I had a look at the site and it seems ideal. Also a lot more $ friendly than theCob cooker.
Cheers!
