You can bet your bottom dollar on it , ready to go to South West Rocks in the morning and the bloody fridge has fagged out not getting cold on 240V, compressor running and all seems in go position .
Could it require just simple regassing, it's about 8 Years old. Know bugger all about the working of van fridges , is there any simple testing that can be done to identify the fault .
Trying to get a fridge mech to look at it here this side of new year is like trying to back your bum up to the dark side of the moon.

if the compressor is running and it's not getting cold then there is only one answer, gas has all nicked off, could cost a couple of quid to get her back on the rails as well, gotta find the leak first which means they fill her up with gas and place a dye in it wait till it leaks and the dye shows where, they then fix the leak (hopefully) and retop up with new gas and yet more dye, just in case, all at a fair cost
