What i am after is a stand alone Spell Checker for our English not the American. 
 And if possible a freebie.
  And i will say thanks indvance.

hey roamin, I dont know if you can get a "stand alone" spell checker but you can try this one that I found after a quick search http://wareseeker.com/download/asp-spell-check-2.4.rar/413365 I dont know what it is like as I use the spell checker in open office when I write letters 'n' thing's, here it is all guesswork and my spelling is terrible

would you let the forum know how you get on with it please

Gmail is the way to go.......

I use this http://www.iespell.com/ it attatched to Internet Explorer 7 does what I want Dave
