Anyone out there with a Dometic B3300 aircon mounted on a motorhome who can tell me what the power draw is to start and run the unit. Have been into the dometic site but no help on this topic.
Thanks

3 KVA would be plenty to kick it over and run it with some other gear on as well.
Was a bit surprised I never heard back from the manufacturer. Their 1 -800 number quoted in their website isn't connected either.
I did find a site that pointed out another issues that may crop up down the track . If the fans won't turn on the aircon the bearings my require oiling . Apparently they have a wick on the bearing housing that needs oiling, if left standing for any length of time they gum up and that requires climbing onto the roof to turn the fan to free it up. It is only a temporary fix and will stop again if not oiled. I would look at seeing if it could have a grease nipple or oil reservoir fitted, Yours may not be a problem like others I know of
Try this site if you have a problem down the track
