We're going to be setting off shortly on the big trip round Australia. We'd like to set up some sort of web page so we can post photos and news for friends and family to follow our progress, but we're not sure what method is best. What do other nomads do?

welcome to the forum and I hope you have a great trip, I'm no expert on this but there are folks on here that use variouis means and as the night falls they will come out, some use my space others set up a blog, a lot use photobucket, I use picassa web albums, how you would do this I dont know but they do so just idle up your horses and they will tell you
gary uses a blog and I am sure he would be only too pleased to let you know of it

Welcome to the forum from us also. Lot of smart people here with lots of experience to share. We use blogspot to do what you are looking to do, can view at
http://garynkerry.blogspot.com. Easy to set up and free, there are many more sites that offer the same. if you have a gmail account there is one there also. If you need any more information or help just hollor and someone will help out.

Nicholstones I am not sure who you have your internet through or who you have as your email carrier but ninemsn provide a free email account, once you sign up for the free email account, a number of options then become available to you including "live space" now live space has a free blogging place and I havent used it yet but I reckon this would be O.K.

dont get excited theres nothing in there as yet, .........I just wanted to see how hard it is,
a wacker like me can do it so I expect to see blog shortcuts cropping up all over the site now and have their little shortcut thingys incorporated in the bottom watchamacallit thingy, the signature oozlefry doohickey
