If milk or bread was on the same yoyo as petrol maybe we would have some action. It is like having a tooth pulled without anesthetic just watching the oil companies robbing us blind and our government let them get away scott free is not on.Cheers Ibbo

Hi,
Agree with Dave. Everytime we decide to go away UP goes the price of fuel BUMMER
We plan for a trip and fuel is low in price and we say, BEAUTY lets pack the Van and go. However by the time we leave, you guessed it, the price of fuel has gone up. With my petrol guzzler, that means we can only go just down the road
Yup, its called a Conspiracy thats for sure. However I feel sure that some are lucky and on the road when the cost of fuel is low. I won't mention the fuel companies, as I could go on forever and that would not be good
Thats my say and I have had it.

Interestingly when in NZ a couple of weeks ago fuel was 1.32 when we were a little over a $1.
However their diesel was only $1.10 !. Other than lower taxes/levies I couldn't work out why diesel was so cheap in comparison to OZ when it was about $1.30 here at the time.

Kid's are going back to school , workers and back at it , naturally the fuel usage is going to be high so the oil companies jack up the price according to the demand, high demand high price, that allows them to make a killing while the killing field is open.
In a place like OZ and especially when outside the city infrastructure of public transport fuel becomes an essential commodity not just a means of getting to the beach or tennis club after dropping the kids at school.
Fuel here in Port Macquaire can rise and fall 20 cents in blink of an eye and is always 10 -12 cents more than anywhere else on the Mid North Coast to start with , they say it's freight cost, must be transported in a tea cup by a bloke on a pushie , sounds like a rip off to most .

Yep. I've heard other reports recently about NZ diesel prices, I think Aussie motorists are being robbed.
