I travelled along TR 92 last weekend from Tarago to Nowra. Been about 18 months since I last ventured down that way.....Well the work creeps on still about 40 km of dirt they are now working on the bit between Nerriga and Sasafras after lengthy delays because of the "sensitive nature" of the area the road passes through.... The new bridge will rival the coalcliffe one and will bypass the current, narrow windy road up through the boulders though there are signs " Heritage area do not enter" and another that took my fancy " Sacred area, please do not intentionally photograph"yes well seems strange to me that these rules are in place now even though this road has travelled this route for over a century ,but now when it's being upgraded all manner of impediment into progress is made.... The bit they are working on is scheduled to be finished in July this year with overall completion in 2011 and will be a quick road to Nowra from the south east and the ACT.....
