This is a pix of the magpie we are feeding, could someone tell us what to do, whether to continue to feed him, or to catch him and adopt him, Have a good look at his beak, At the moment he is learning to eat with a sideways motion, laying his head on the side to pick up food, its mother still occasionally feeds him what happens when we go walkabout??
I don't know where you are at the moment but if there is a wildlife sanctuary or the R.S.P.C.A nearby why not try to catch the poor bird and hand it over to them. I am sure the R.S.P.C.A. would know of a wildlife carer in the area who would be only too happy to look after the poor little creature.
Best Regards and Safe Travelling.
John
PS: Any vet is required to take in a sick or injured animal and pass it on to the relevent authority, I believe Magpies are a protected species.

Catch and take to a Vet or WIRES, RSPCA.
Will not last long once Mum turfs him out and the others pick on him/her .
Looking at the plumage Mum will leave shortly and then he/she has to fend for itself .

his mum should have told him that thats what happens when you chase parked cars
if you grab him and take him to "wires" or something similar then he will be fine, left alone he will perish
