A question to all full time grey nomads.... How do you go about insurance on your vehicle and van while on the road full time? Freddo.

Hi there. My vehicle is now insured through The National Seniors, as I'm on the road with no fixed address. My car is registered in WA, I have an SA postal address and I'm parked in Cairns. I was insured with RAC WA, but because I have no garaging address in WA they wouldn't do it anaymore.
The van and annexe is insured with CIL, (Caravan Insurance Limited). I've had no problems with them.
I have RAC WA Ultimate Membership wherever I go. I've had to call RACQ twice in Cairns with no problems.
The comprehensive insurance on your vehicles is paramount, but it can be extremely expensive. Check what value you get for your money, and what you can afford.
Hopefully you never need to make a claim, and all will be right in your world.
Safe and happy travels. Cheers Granny
