Hi Dave,
Yep the porta-bote is ours we have just bought a new 8hp Mercury Outboard (it replaces the 5hp we used to use).
We like it it does what we want it to do and it is easy to travel with. It's amazing how it draws a crowd in the parks when we put it together. It gets the tinnie people scratching their heads. We used to carry it on top of the Winnie but now we pull a trailer (to carry all those extra things) and the boat goes on top of that.
Check my blog and you will see morfe pics etc.

yep I already had a look at your blog, it's very good, makes mine a wee bit on the sorry side,
a fair while ago when the porta bote was a lot less known I spied one up near darwin with a lovely beyond middle aged couple they had theirs stored flat and somehow attached to the side of their motorhome, I meant to have a squizz but as the night drew in our circle of freinds grew larger and I simply forgot to have a nose
Just a few pics from here and there, how about the USA motorhome?
Happy Travels
Alan
