Dragging a lot of different trailers over the years, and a lot of them were vans I have never worked out why there is not a good tyre filler on the market, The minute you feel the van lurch and you check the mirror and see the lean there gos over a hundred bucks, by the time you have stopped, the steel wheel has shredded it So got talking to the tyre man here ,and he was talking about a gel that seals it, Anybody had any experience of this ??

They once used a similar gel in run flat tyres on military vehicles depends on what caused the hole to how effective it is,

The last time I had my quad motor bike tyre repaired, they offered to put "beads" in it if it did not seal on the rim. Well it did, so I never saw the stuff
I have used that can puncture repair, in an emergency situation, and it did seal and slightly inflate the tyre, enough to get home.
I believe this stuff is only good for low speed, and can cause out of balance at high speed. It also makes a mess of your rim, for tyre replacement and needs to be cleaned off.
But, technology is improving, so maybe it is better now. Tyre tech has grown to such an extent, that it is rare to get a puncture these days. Most punctures I have seen are from screws, fallen off the back of some trademans ute. Just a tip, never remove a screw in the tyre, unless you are in a position to have it repaired.
