Can someone tell me how you get your avitar or picture thingy to be visible when you post a reply or wot not.    Computerly challenged, that's me.

Ma Go to your member page, and in profile you will see "Avatar". Select it and upload one and select it to be visable

I found it tricky also -tip - once in the box you need to click on the pic for it to work - at leat that's what I remember Mike

How do you reduce the size? ... mine is rather vulgar  ... or at least too large.

I did what you all said to do, but I can't find where you select "visible" TwoBob. also I clicked on the photo and it got a blue box around it so maybe that's what it's meant to do. Blowed if I know.

Ok Ma...this is what I do........Go to "User Details"..Profile on left...select Avatar...at bottom middle.theres Browse....find your pic on your computer.press Upload Image...it should come in above box..then select...VIEW Profile.....it should be showing in your profile....if not hit REFRESH on your browser...see if its there then.the Site can be slow at times..  Thanks for that Dave.  Followed it TO THE LETTER.  Still no luck so you will all just have to be kept in suspense until maybe one day we meet on the road.

Hi Ma,
I taped this to my monitor, when I was having trouble with avatars.  Not sure if it was for this forum, but it might be of some help.  They can't be too different.

1. Log in to forum.
2. Click on user details.
3. Click on avatar.
4. Scroll then click on upload images.
5. Choose an image from my pictures file.
6. Open.
7. Click upload image.
8. Wait for the upload.
9.  Picture appears in custom library.
10. Click on picture.
11. Click on select avatar.
12. All done. New avatar is in place.
