Chatting to some travellers at a truck stop on the way home from Melbourne last week. They were going to Sydney to collect a cheap annex to fit onto their Toyota campervan. paid $350 0n e bay for secondhand one. Managed to track down the makers web site for anyone thats interested.
Dont know how to make it an instant click on thingy, but here goes.
then follow the link to caravan annexes. they apparently fit c/vans/horse floats/campervans, but i cant see how it would fit if you already have an awning.

thanks for that John, looks to be pretty good and definately an alternative to the ones off the side of a van
and your "clicky thingy" works very well, well done

It doesn't look very strong and durable. The weather isn't always calm and balmy. Would it tolerate a thunderstorm downpour?
I guess it would be alright in ideal, fine weather.
To each his/her own. Cheers Chris

on the site they actually specify that you not leave it out overnight or unattended, it wont stand up to a storm but then not many van annexes would either, I think it is a good speedily erected bit of shade and a cheap one at that, but not a strong one, I've seen these in camps setup next to campervans and tents for extra space and they work very well
