Getting the same effect myself on this and other USA based sites.
I think it might be either comms slowness or bandwidth overload at the originating server.

Wombat
I was just thinking of posting re this - my connection is not great at the best of times, but I am getting "error 500 - internal server error" a lot
I think there is a overload at the server end

as the new web browser from microsoft is introduced (internet explorer 8) there have been some hiccups, but as the system settles down a bit it will correct itself, the error message doesnt mean anything it is just the computer saying "what the"
make sure you grab all available updates as they become available as well, there is a nasty virus coming through called "zombie" it will basically eat up your hard drive and steal all your contact details as well as banking info

Yes, getting the 500 error message at times it would be quicker to write to everyone and send it snail mail.
Thanks for the heads up on the possible problems

Sir Dave, It is nothing to do with the browser. I use Firefox, and think anyone using microsoft is crazy - too slow and open to mainstream hackers
sorry, still upset about animals left behind - a bit short tempered at moment

Wonder if it either of these things,
I,m on microsoft and have got frustrated to the point of pulling out the blue wireless modem from one USB plug and putting it another,
Bingpo all is normal
Maybe its the USB connection,
