yep the headline says it all. Tonite I managed to catch up the last of the forum pages. Boy oh boy the pace of the nomads has picked up while away.
We had an excellent time in Singapore and for any gardners the botanical gardens and Orchid garden are a must !
In Jakarta Gail had 15 mill to spend -fortunately not dollars !!! thank the lord but the wallet got a work out never the less. some great shopping when escorted by locals.
There is substantial poverty in many areas and it is a place of extremes -wealth and its opposite.
What attracts me is the indomitable (is that spelt correctly ?) spirit of the ordinary folk -they are happy with their lot and always happy to assist it seems to me.
Having been there many times -not to Bali - but elsewhere in Indo we have a lot to learn from these simple people.

welcome back mate good to see you alive and kicking again, and yep the forum has picked up a bit which always gives me pleasure, could pick up a lot more though as we have well over a thousand members
I'd like to get over to singapore one day but the dragons not so keen so probably will never see it she wont let me go on my own, reckons I'd get lost and all the women wouldnt leave me alone, oh well nothing ever changes does it!!!

theres a young mechanic at work who just loves the ranger jokes, dont know where he gets them but he's got a million of them, much to our chagrin
