Hi everyone, my name is Billy and Im new to this forum. My Mum and Dad are nomadding around Oz at the moment and as its Dads 70th and Mums 68th in late June we ( the kids ) thought maybe we could get them something for their travels. They're heading to Queensland for the winter (lucky buggers) in their Australian motorhomes 5th wheeler with their cat, Monet. We poor kids stuck in cold NSW were wondering if holiday parks are in the habit of doing vouchers etc. so that we shivering abandoned envious lot could pay for Mum and Dads site fees for a month or something. I look forward to hearing from the lucky nomadders out there. Cheers, Billy

G'day billy and welcome to you, if you go on the web and poke in a caravan park that you are interested in then go to their website you will find that you can "prepay" for a stay of any length, this booking can be placed in your mum and dads name
we do this when we go to parks as it saves a lot of trouble

Dave is right, but, at the peak time of the year for nomads heading north, it may be better to let them settlie in, and then pay their rent for whatever period. Parks only take a week's rent at a time. Many parks don't take bookings at this busy time of the year. First in, best dressed.
We can phone ahead a day before, but if we haven't arrived by about 4pm they give the site away to the next one.
If you already know where they're heading and booked, then paying up front will be a great idea.
Welcome to Nomads.
Cheers Chris

What a great idea paying for Mum and Dad . If they are anything like us socks and undies are not high on the list of priorities but a week or so rent is most welcome.
Top Idea kids
