Hi Stefan
It appears that the 'insert link' function has been disabled for some reason.
Not your fault.

I'll just repeat it Stefan,
Once you have posted as per your above post and the link does not work, click on your edit button (you have to be patient, it says done but then keeps loading) and wait until all the wording on the edit page has stabilized, then put your mouse pointer directly behind the last digit/letter of your link, left click and make sure the "marker" is showing behind he link, then hit your space bar once, the link should then show up in blue/purple, the hit submit post at the bottom of the edit page and it should work.......try it again.
Hope it works this time for you, Vic

Try this one, Gentle People.
Type the URL into your message, highlight it, the link icon above the message panel will become active, click on the link, a drop menu will appear, enter the link into the appropriate box, voila!

Thanks Rolly, beats the way I was doing it. I notice at the top and bottom of the pages of the forum that it has the comments "Links not Clickable", I wonder if this is meant to be like that to prevent spam/hackers etc on the site?

Nah, Vic.
It means that it's the topic name on the general forum of the Grey Nomads forum.
