Leaving Sunshine Coast today; heading for Goondawind, then Narrandera to visit friends, then to Mildura to catch up with another mate, then home. Can't wait to see grandies!!! Be glad to see some rain somewhere soon; its so dry here - after all the dust seem to have caught an allergy thingy and feel awful. Lots of people have conjuntivitis etc. Cheers Colleen

G'day collyj,
going home can be good. We all look forward to getting away and exploring the wonderful country that we live in but, and there is a big but here. The Grandkids, yes we miss them too. Don't know how it happened because we couldn't wait for our own children to be old enough for us to get away on our own. Now we find this magnet slowly drawing us home on each holiday. Glad to hear we are not the only ones to feel this way. Almost, almost as good as getting away. The best part is to come, planning the next trip once you have been home a while. Enjoy the journey home.
Terry.

You'll never sleep as well as in your own bed on your first night back from a long trip.
But I'd hate to miss those long trips just for a good nights sleep!

That's the advantage of living and travelling in my van. I always sleep in my own bed wherever I'm parked. When I'm sick of where I'm parked, I hitch up a relocate. No real esate changes hands. You'll probably still need your slippers when you get back to the Mount. Take care and enjoy.

I'm just the opposite Rosey. Can't sleep very well at home. Go away in "Freda" and I sleep right through EVERY night. Just love the lifestyle and Oct. 18th can't come quick enough
Cheers Colleen
