We are looking at levelling devices (levellers) for our Coaster and would appreciate any feedback/advice on what to get. Fiamma have a couple of different types - e.g. "stepped" or "flat", made of plastic for around $50. Any experience with these ? Thanks

nah all rocks for me, but if you mess about with peices of wood you can easily make them yourself

Welcome to the forum!
Yes we saw these under a big caravan and thought they looked very useful...until we saw a bloke trying to back his van onto them. His wife was giving directions which were apparently incomprehensible to the driver... everybody can imagine that scenario.
Anyhow now we reckon that bits of wood, and sometimes a brick, is just fine.

The best ones I have seen are yellow plastic gizmos that are wedge shaped but are curved to fit the tyre..... Personally I prefer the "whats at hand" routine because whatever you use if you can't find it on site then you have to transport it, and that takes up valuable space and adds weight...

I've seen some people get into the worst possible predictament trying to get level. It's harder with a bus than a van, but keeping it simple still seems to be the best option.
Most parks are reasonably level, but free camps are not.
My philosophy with van levelling is, if I don't roll out of bed it's level enough. Oh, and the water has to run out of the sink.
Yeah I know, it sounds a bit rough, but nothing is so hard that it can't be fixed with a bit of thought. Look for the simple solution.
As long as it doesn't cost you a bomb, take up valuable space and weigh you down go with what suits you. Those plastic levelling wedges, the longer ones, are probably the most useful for your purpose. The small ones only look like wheel chocks to me. Have fun.

I think one of the best accessories are the big plastic wedges for levelling. They are no bother to use, easy to back or drive onto. No problem, much easier than bits of wood, digging holes etc. My thoughts anyway.
