What and where was it Xina??

Don't remember everything it said now Disco. It was on the "What's Cooking" thread, and gave a Web. address, after stating that all their products were top Quality. I think they mentioned shoes, household goods, etc. I may have the items wrong[I'm out of ink for the printer, and I didn't think I'd need to remember them] sorry. There were about 6 or 8 different items mentioned. As I said on another site, I was surprised Granny hadn't commented on that one, as she jumped on Dave quickly enough for getting the discount from Furphys' for the Nomads, which I can't for the life of me see as advertising. On the subject of not understanding....................hmmmm

I may be wrong again, as I sometimes am, but in defence of Granny, I think her objection was to Dave's offering of advertising space on the front page of Nomad without Cindy's consent. Not the fact that we were offered discounts as I'm sure she would welcome any discounts available as would the rest of us.  Bring on the Discounts I say!!!!

Dave's Statement from that thread:

"I have offered Vanessa the opportunity to advertise on the front page of the nomad and I really hope the company takes the offer up, this will give us addresses and special promotional offers not open to the general public"

The way I read it................. that was what her objection was.

Now...............understand please................I am not taking sides.............I'm not buying in to the debate.........all I'm doing here is expressing my opinion as I think the situation got out of hand. If I'm wrong please take away my TV priveliges for a week??

yes to prevent any further "misunderstandings" of my asperations to achieve world domination I have contacted Cindy and passed all my ideas and recomendations on, which she gladly accepted, hopefully only good will come from it, we will see

I didn't see the "ads". Whether anyone advertises or prompts advertising is up to the webmaster. Not my decision. It's a matter of courtesy and protocol to the web site owners.
