Your "durn tootin" there Dave. I have been off work sick for the past week and am working very hard to get better for the upcoming weekend here in Melbourne. Heading off to the Murray so I need to shake off this damn asthma quickly. Then we'll have a good trip.

ah bloody asthma, got a bil with that, he suffers something chronic with all the grain dust around, poor bugger can hardly breathe some days,
whereabouts on the murray are you heading for, doesnt matter really anywhere along it is great, I've got a heap of time to be served behind the wheel of this thing before I can get "parolle", stuffs a bit wet this morning (big storm overnight, sheet lightning everywhere) so it's grease, oil and clean anything that moves and if it doesnt the we make it move and then clean and oil it
starting to dry out a bit so it will all be go again this arvo I guess, probably pull an all nighter to make up for lost production I spose, just as long as the heat stays in the crop

We are going to a little place called Koonoomoo. It is just on the Vic side from Tocumwal. The park we are staying at used to be a nudist colony but not too many there now. In fact the I wouldn't wish to see any unless they look like Jennifer Hawkins!!! Only a few days unfortunately then back to the grind, health permitting. Good thing I have a job with generous sick leave! Bit damp and cool here today, but the long term forecast looks good for next weekend. Hopefully it will hang on 'til cup day.

Ahh, Lake Culluler, Cullul,, Cull.... whatever. A tongue twister if ever there was one. Maybe a tour could be devised to visit all the tongue twisting destinations in OZ!. Enjoy your trip.

Penong has a great little van park, and the pub is a short walk, and I'm told they serve great meals. Safe travels heading west, and check at the head of the Bight to see if there are still any whales hanging about.
Enjoy.

Yes the park at Penong is nice but you need to wear your sunnies with the white sand and gravel a bit bright but i cheap enuf $18 a night and free laundry

last time I was there, some damn fool left the gates open and all the bloody whales got out, took the parks and wildlife folks ages to get them back in, it was absolute chaos, whales up trees, wandering around roads getting hit by cars, jap tourists chasing them with chopsticks and sushi knives, oh!!!! it was shocking!!!!!!!!!!
