Well, Olga turned out to be a polite little lass. We had a little wind and rain but not much worse than a normal wet season day. Just blew over a couple of pot plants. Big Monsoon trough in place now right down to Mackay. Should get a sheitload of rain out of that.

well, its pissing down here, Magnetic island, and we have a severe weather warning. Come to sunny Queensland! There is another low 120 miles east of Cardwell, and its seems like its coming here. But , we have done our homework, and hopefully, we will be right. The ferrys are cancelled , so I don,t think I will going down south tomorrow. Ah , well, this is what you put up with when you live in paradise.Bugga, Bill

No worse than Cairns. Eye of the storm was close to Daintree Villiage. No damage reports.

Not sure if it's there, but it's getting close.
The monsoonal low just dumped buckets of water all over usnover the last 4 days.
We full time caravan dwellers have to keep on our toes in these occasions.
No more wind here than on a windy day from the SE.
It's been very tame here today, just a challenge to get the washing dry on the line in the annexe with the fan on. Humidity is about 80% causing me to break out in a sweat reading the newspaper. It's the effort of turning the pages that works up the sweat.
Thankfully we are all ok. Thanks for the thoughts folks. It's appreciated.

everybodys vision of paradise is different, ask Osama bin Liner. I like maggie and am probaly a bit biased, but even here, you have to get away and get demagnetized now and again. On the road at the moment, at Bowen at the uncles place as hes 80 on the 30th and all the ferals, woops, rellys are coming for big bash. Still blowing a gale and heavy rain though. Will see ya on the track, Bill

Take care Bill. The rain headed that way. Floods are forecast. Keep an ear to the wireless-type radio and if you have it, the UHF for all the road conditions. Very tricky at this time of the year.
There's more here too. Olga's dregs. She's a very sloppy shiela, dribbling all over the place.
My mate Neville doesn't even know anyone named Olga, so there's very little chance they'll ever get it together.
The real Neville is in SA, and I told him they'd named a cyclone after him.
