Hi Guys, Well, I'm still not sure whether or not I'm getting better Fuel Consumption since having the Magnetic Air/Fuel Balancer fitted to my Toyota Hi-ace Campervan. As I didn't do a Control run before it was fitted, I have no way of comparing before and after. However, my friend is getting one fitted to her car soon, so I'll be able to give you a better idea then, as she will be able to do a control run beforehand.
In any case, just using it like a normal car,[no long runs yet.] I'm getting 100ks. to 9 litres of Diesel.
Even if I'm not getting better consumption, I'm happy, as I still believe she's running smoother.
Cheers, xina.

I live 30 minutes out of Rocky, so every time I go to town, it's about an hour straight driving, then town and traffic lights etc.while I'm in there.
Cheers,
xina.

Considering the weight and aerodynamics of a Hi Ace Camper 9-100 is doing well

I run a 98 petrol Hi-ace camper and I cant get those figures even on open running, I average around the 10-12 mark!

Our 1999 Hiace Camper (2.8 litre Diesel) Averages just below 9 Litres per 100 kilometres. We keep a fuel log for every trip.
Also keep the foot off the pedal, "where possible that is" Been very pleased with it's fuel consumption since we bought it last year. Pretty good machine the Hiace.
Will be interesting to read your final fuel usage figures on a long run Xina.
I read a while back in a UK camper forum, of people adding a small (measured) ammount of acetone to the diesel, and reportedly (in some cases) getting better fuel burning efficiency. Anyone tried this !!
