Good Friday, left home nice and early to spend a few days at Macksville. We left our cul de sac and turned onto the main road, pulling over to re-adjust the mirrors on the straight. Unfortunately, Hubby got a little too close to an overhanging tree branch, and by the time I look in the mirror and yell stop, too late, the roll up awning was ripped off, though not completely. Back up the road to home, to remove what was left.
Well we still had a great time at Nambucca River CP. Lovely little park, next to the river, with lots of families skiing. Not a flash park, but very freindly, clean amenities and no keys or swipe cards to worry about. Bailey the dog had a great time and enjoyed chatting to the permanent guests.
Then off again to visit the grandkids on the Central Coast. After stopping to visit a friend in Foster we followed the Lakes Way. What a beautifull drive, the mountain was a bit steeper than I expected but the views were worth it.
Safely back home now, and looking forward to the next trip, with the new awning.

As they say
We overcame our adversity.
And all will be well.
Glad you were able to turn the trip into a good time.

I would suggest that it was an act of god. Given the time it happened he would have an reasonable excuse, but that still does not limit liability
have a chat to Billy Connely, as I believe he has taken God on in court
