Yep ,still in the land of the living & just waiting for things to return to normal, what ever that may be. The river is droping rapidly now & we should be back on the water next week, a couple of bigger boats have been out but still very quite. Till we check in again, be kind to each other. Cheers.

I hope it dries out to a reasonable state.
It's starting to dry out in Cairns after 15 consecutive days of rain of various power.
Drizzle, light and heavy, nfrequent down pours, and more drizzle.
The ground was about 6 inches of soggy, slimy mud, and walking was a risk to life and limb.
Fortunately I survived with both ankles and knees intact, and I even go the washing dry on Wednesday. I feel like I had a win over nature.
A few light drizzles yesterday, and sunshine and clear skies all day today.
I think the wet season is almost over, and the dry season cometh.
The sun is getting closer to the northern horizone every day, and they're getting shorter all the time.
The Autumn equinox has passed, winter is on it's way. The butterflies are busy everywhere.
And life is good.
