Where about to head to Canberra via Kangaroo Valley so I thought I would take a look at Canberra on Google Maps, I did a search for it & it put a pin mark on the spot but for some strange reason Google doesn't have our nations capital marked in big print & you only find it by zooming right down close & its a little spot surrounded by what I would presume is it's own suburbs. Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason for this. No wonder people overseas seem to think Sydney is our capitol Cheers. Jon

Could it have something to do with the fact that all our lovely Pollies are in Canberra?
Can't have people spying on the nations capitol now can we.

I wonder ??? Google, rightly so, objects to the proposed Goverment internet ban on undisclosed sites which are to be determined by a collection of mysterous individuals and not by the community.
I wonder if Google is demonstrating what this type of censorship can represent???
I think personally a change of government is not far away.

Unfortunately much of the population can't work out just how potentially dangerous the government's internet censorship proposals are and are buying the dishonest line that it's to protect our children from predators. Much more of the population is either too stupid and/or doesn't care. These laws have the potential to be used in years to come by governments regardless of their political persuasion for very dangerous purposes.

The other funny is that if you search on Canberra Google puts the pin in on City Hill. However when you zoom in far enough to get the word Canberra on the map it is placed on Capital Hill.

They all know something, that's what it is.
Now we here all know it too.
I wonder if the powers-that-be in Canberra will ever get it
Now all we have to do is work out what "IT" actually is.
Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason for this. No wonder people overseas seem to think Sydney is our capitol
Cheers.
