Good afternoon, I have a honda generator 10i, which is not suitable for a normal portable heater. Been looking at a 12 volt heater from ebay, but i have heard that it will drain my battery within a half an hour. Can some please help me with this. Marv

Hi Marv, Had a look on EBAY & only one gave current draw @ 13A @ 12V. I suspect it wont heat up a very large area as it doesnt apear to have mutch output in watts. I use a 240v fan heater in a 12ft van & on 900Watts it only just does the job in freezing temps. Daryl

13A @ 12V is 156W.
That is the heat of 2 light globes. Not much.
Battery would nead recharging after about 4 hours.
Cheers,
Peter
