Get yourself and a couple of mates to donate one like I did. Had new food van custom built in Melbourne. 3 of us tossed in $25k and got beauty built 17' 6" inside 20' 6" outside.

Good on you for doing that CO. Wonderful gesture
Unfortunately not everyone is in a positon to contribute like you have done and the Lion's Club rely on donations for most things they do.
We can only hope that there is a really nice benefactor out there to help these fellows out.
Best of luck with your search caraview

Good luck. The Lions Club voluntary members put so much into the community, but I know they have a hard time getting support back from some communities.
Maybe you could write a submission to some local caravan businesses, or put an ad in your local paper with a plea for such a van, either donated or at a reasonable price.
You might try Ebay, online caravan sales sites, and other sources.
I believe your region is reasonably affluent, so surely you could find a collection of donors to sponsor the acquisition of a suitable van. It doesn't have to be new, just sound.
You always publicly acknowledge your sponsors and supporters, so that wouldn't be a drama.
All the best to you in your search.

May sound silly, but try the local solicitors and barristers offices. They often give to non profit organisations as part of their charity donations.
A firm gave my scout troop $7000.00 once to help buy equipment.

Well done covert, I applaud you for that generous gesture, but look around you, not everyone is in such a fortunate position as you to be able to chuck in 25k, some uf us would have to scratch to donate $50.00

G'Day Bob,
You could try some of your local caravan dealers or repairers, sometimes they have a trade in that may not be suitable for sale that they may be prepared to sell for a minimum amount, or donate........worth a try!
