BTW you do not need to have your decoder on when searching for signal, just a 1mtr lead from your dish to the sat finder and once sig is found disconnet the short lead and connect your decoder

Good post wombat, The people that will be changing over to the the new" VAST TV SYSTEM "soon will need a sat finder like this ..The new sat box "UEC" is ner imposible to use as a sat finder like a strong ect.. I have had a old sat finder with its own batties for a long time.. so easy to set up.....
