The tube is to mend tiny stone-chips in the windscreen. Costs around $70. if you get some-one else to fix it, and they use exactly the same thing. I know, 'cause I've had it done once, and seen how it's done. Carry my own now. Costs $19.99.
The Bagholder is self-explanatary. Handy little thing. Can't remember what it cost, but not excessive.
Cheers, Sheba.

The windscreen thingy is great - but if you do get a chip - cover it with some form of sticky tape - keeps moisture and dust out, till you can do the repair - so a windscreen fitter told me. Had some little round sticky spots from one of the screen mobs. Have had a small chip in drivers side bottom corner for about 3 years - covered - never had a problem - unlike the people on the ad - hit a bump - crack!!! - I have hit lots of bumps in that time.
Handbag thing is great idea too - especially travelling, ususally got stuff on floor in back. Must look out for one.

The bag-holder is also good for hanging plastic bags to hold rubbish. Lots of uses.
Cheers, Sheba.

You've sold me on this one Sheba. Just somewhere to put the rubbish instead of on the floor in the back when you can't get to a bin at the time would be excellent.
Hope you can remember where you got it. I'm sure there are many of us on here that would love to have one.

Looks good to me too, I wonder how much weight it would take without damaging the headrest...that would be my only concern

From memory, I think I got the Bag-holder from Avon, although I have seen them in a mail-order catalogue as well. Will check and let you know.
More info re. Drink-holders in the What is it Thread in What's Cooking?

In the list of things to carry, my s.in.l suggested to me the other day to go buy a pack of different size fuses. Never know when a fuse might blow.

The Adelaide Caravan and Camping show is on this coming weekend, starting Wed 23/02.
That's the place where all the gadgets on this earth are available.
I'll be going. See you at the van show.
At this stage I have a placky bag off the little 4WD gear stick for rubbish, a cup holder on the vent, and a handy bag off the back of my seat for tissues, hand wash and other essential items. Everything has to be handy to the driver as I don't have a navigator in the front seat, and Tom (GPS) can be useless as a passenger.

If you're not in a caravan and have storage limitations, a few different sizes of zip lock bags are handy, instead of small plastic containers, eg: Tupperware.

You sure got a bargain there Beth. From memory, I think I paid about $14.95 a pair.
Sturdy single hook attaches to front seat headrest to suspend umbrellas, shopping bags, handbag or tote. Instantly frees up space for back seat passengers; stops items from sliding around as you brake or turn corners...
Our price: AU/NZ$14.95
Quantity
Health and Pride [ Mail Order] have them for $7.90 ea. as well.
Might get some spares at that price. [$2.00 ]. [ My 'puter won't let me onto the Lasoo Catalogue site for the last couple of weeks, so I've missed a lot of specials like that. ]
Cheers, Sheba.

I managed to spend quite a bit of time this arvo just browsing around my local shopping centre.
There was a thunderstorm and hail predicted, so I went down there to get the car undercover.
After my find, I got a cuppa and sat with my book for awhile. Another good reason to stay there was it was 36 degrees outside!

If it's the Tube thingy, Magnamail has it. Just Google it, and you'll be able to buy it online.
