Hi one and all - well my first solo trip with van to NE Vic from SE Qld was a resounding success - had a ball - all went well - now I know that I can and will be doing more - only trouble is coming home and cleaning the roadwork grime and mud off car and van - tomorrow!! Took advice re trucks passing etc., nobody spoke to me on the little radio thingy - but I did hear a comment - "see the duck towing the grey wobbly" - I think they meant me!!

Glad it all went well Jules. Sounds like you've got "the Bug." Doesn't take much to get it, does it ?
Congratulations, and welcome back.
Sheers, Sheba.

Thanks guys for allyour greetings - and to Helena - I know what you mean - of my group of friends - all with their other halves - I can not see any of them travelling with their vans if they lose their partners. Most of them wouldn't even drive anywhere that they could fly to - maybe one of my friends would do it (her husband has Parkinsons, but is still active) would travel - her and I reckon we could do it together - my son and her daughter both said "pity help the country if they get together on the road" - what do they mean do you think???
