This park is a homely, friendly experience. The well-travelled managers understand vanning and camping and present a clean park. It's adjacent to the town's water sport lake. You can walk all the way around on a concreted walking path, play in the water park on the opposite side of the pond, go water ski-ing or jet skiing, as long as you all travel in a clock-wise direction. The hospital is also friendly and helpful, should you need the services, as I did. It's dinosaur country from Hughenden to Richmond to add to the intrigue of this region.

we stay at this park a few times a year when we want to get away from Townsville for a week .staff always friendly and park very clean.gets busy during the winter months but mostly overnighters.Richmond is a lovely quiet little town.
