In honor of Mother's Day I'm changing my profile picture to a picture of my mum and keeping it there till after May 9th. If you like this idea you're welcome to do the same. I saw this idea on facebook & liked it so much so I'm doing it here also

To change your profile -
1. Click your name in the 'Logged in as' in the top left corner. 2. Click 'Avatar' in the 'Profile' box on the left side 3. Click the 'Select a File' button 4. Here you need to know where the photo is on your computer and & highlight it. (I often find the photo first then put a copy of it on my desktop so I can find it easier when I want to upload it onto a website like Grey Nomads
Someone may explain it better than me later but just make sure you have a copy of your normal avatar so you can put it back on after Mothers Day

she passed away 5 years ago now, i miss her every day .. oh today (friday ) would have been my mum and dads 61st wedding anaversary if she were still here..
Ill always love you mum and will always miss you!! you tought me so much and loved me no matter what... wish you were here.. opic of my mum and dad

I don't have any pics of my mum while travelling. They are all back home. Mum passed away back in 1989. I miss her everyday, still think of things to say, then realise she's not here to say them to.

I am fortunate that I still have my Mum but my Dad has been gone 31 years this year and I still talk to him. Mind you he doesn't answer but it still helps to talk out my problems with him like I always did

This is my late Mum who passed over almost 8 years ago. I've cropped it from a photo of Mum & Dad on their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1995. Dad passed over almost 3 years ago.

That happens to me too, it's been about 3 years since my mum went & that's what paid for the caravan & tug we are in now so this pic of the 2 of us has pride of place in the van

Lovely idea, unfortunately dont have any pics in this computer. She passed away 15 years ago, and used to say shed like to see Australia, so I often think of her while we are doing just that.

Here's me muvver .... she died in 1960, aged 42 years of age - brain tumour.
Still think of her and remember heaps of stuff about her.

My Mum and Dad on their wedding Day in 1955. Mum is in a nursing home with Alzeihmers and doesn't recognise many people these days.

I'd post one if I had one, Mum and photo. Mum died in 1955 when she was 25 and I was 4. My Grandma raised me until I was 14 when she also passed away suddenly. So now I'm a mum, but ...... who knows what my kids will do with that. I hope every Mum out there has a bonza day!

I don't have a mum to celebrate with my disapproving eldest daughter sent me a lovely, unexpected message for Ma's Day. That's all I need. My other 2 daughters don't send me anything, but that's normal.

My eldest son sent me a Happy Mothers Day txt, My middle son I'm staying with, they bought me some hand wash and moisturiser. My daughter deposited some money in my account which will cover a top up of fuel to move on. Didn't do anything special as the grandkids and their mum went into Bundy for the day, so I wandered around Biggenden getting good exercise, had a cappachino at local cafe and bought sunday paper. Which I spent the rest of the day reading.

I was lucky enough to spend most of the day with my 3 children, s-i-l, d-i-l, 2 grandchildren, my ex and partner. The ex's partner lost her Mum very recently, so it was lovely of my kids to invite them too. We met up at Queens Park in Ipswich Qld, if anyone knows it. It's a very big park with lots of play things. And even though there were heaps of people, there was plenty of room for all the different groups.
I always reckon it should be up to the boys to organise, but in typical fashion, it was my daughter and d-i-l who organised it all. Each brought yummies, all I had to bring was the air pot full of hot water for cuppas.
My eldest son gave me a Zygocatus (spelling?), which was very fitting. Mum had given me one years ago and it had lived for many years but eventually bit the dust. It was even the same colour. So when I told him that, he was quite chuffed.
It was a lovely day and I feel blessed.

I spent the day with my daughter, son in law, 3 of my grandies and s-i-l's parents. My daughter cooked a beautiful lunch and we all had a lovely day.
I also received gifts (via post) and phone calls from my other children and grandchildren. (I have one son overseas and one son and one daughter interstate).
