Hi Shep. Thank you. It's not just my camera, but also the lens. If you're in the market for a new camera, the one I have is a Canon 450D (digital). The lens I used in that particular photo is a Canon Macro EF 100mm (USM) with an f stop of 2.8. Although the lens was expensive, you might be able to pick up a bargain somewhere. Regardless, they are certainly worth it if you like that kind of photography. Don't be put off by all the tech talk though. It just means that I can get as near as 100mm (about 4") to my subject, the USM means that slight human camera shake/movement is automatically corrected by the camera/lens to give you a clearer and hopefully non-blurry photo, and the f/2.8 is sort of like the 'light gathering' power of the lens - if the f/number is smaller, the aperature or opening in the lens is larger and gathers more light. If the f/number is larger, the opening is smaller and less light gets in. It took me a while to get my head around that If you want to know anything else, just ask, and I'll try my best to help.
New leaf growth.
